I had a mixed experience during my stay. While the location was great for exploring Cornwall and the staff were friendly, the room wasn't up to the usual standards I've come to expect from Premier Inn. The heating issues and cleanliness left a lot to be desired, which dampened my overall impression.
Rooms

My room was cold, the heating kept resetting to low, and it really needed a deep clean. The floor creaked quite a bit, making it hard for light sleepers to rest at night.
Service

The hotel staff were polite and friendly, which I really appreciated. However, I felt the restaurant staff seemed a bit put out by guests during busy times, especially at breakfast.

The dining experience was decent but not without flaws. I found the breakfast service lacking at times; the food didn’t always match the freshness I hoped for, especially with some items being only partially cooked.
Facilities

The hotel offered essential facilities, but my room's condition didn’t reflect a high level of maintenance. Issues like light bulbs needing replacement were noticeable.

However, I did notice a couple of downsides, like limited wardrobe space in the room and some noise from the main road outside that could be bothersome at night.
